One of the important ways we can "do the work" of resisting techno-facism is by sharing the TRUSTED VOICES we read, watch, and listen to.
This is a collection of static and dynamic links to news, videos, newsletters, organizations and individuals I (Wes Fryer) consider to be "trusted voices" in our present moment of polarization and rising fascism.
Specific newsletters, podcasts and books are included too.

We live in a polluted, fractured, and confusing information environment today in 2025. We live in an "attention economy" in which technology platforms and tools seek to command our attention and direct our thoughts. While advances in technology have been empowering and positive in many ways, they also continue to enable mass surveillance by central authorities.

Our church family at Caldwell Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina was blessed in February 2026 by four different guest pastors.
I have created a group chat in Signal for “Resist and Heal.” The group’s purpose is to share news links related to anti-fascism and understanding our current political moment, from a “progressive” lens or viewpoint.

The "Confronting Whiteness" community and course, founded by Rev. Dr. Ben Boswell of Charlotte, North Carolina, are trusted voices for me.
I (Wes Fryer) am a trained facilitator for the "Confronting Whiteness" course. More information and interest form links are available on cw.wesfryer.com.
The church Ben leads in Charlotte, Collective Liberation Church, and our own CLT church, Caldwell Presbyterian, are also personal "trusted voices" / have leaders I trust.
